The Humane Society of the United States recently released the picture of an animal that was a "Pilot" but has since been removed from public view.
The photograph was taken March 4, 2002 and depicts the last of three captive pups at the Bayside Aquarium in San Francisco. Three weeks earlier, the Humane Society announced a $500,000 reward, for information leading to the safe and permanent release of the last of four pups.
The family and friends of the pups will receive gift certificates for one pet. They can also get a picture of another pup for $100, by texting "SOMETHING SHADED"!
When was it taken?
It was taken on March 4, 2002 when a photographer took a "Fly-in." At the Bayside Aquarium, a camera used by the San Francisco Chronicle was used to fly a photographer back and forth around the aquarium.
The Pest Control Officer (PCL) was responsible for keeping in check the Pest Control Program to keep our birds, snakes, birds that aren't home, and even animals when no one else is around.
