There is also an organization called Animal Care International, which works with local rescue groups in South Dakota. Animal Care International is a nonprofit committed to providing services to people with disabilities through food banks and other resources offered.
"They have an incredible response," said DeAnna White. "They're a great resource for people with disabilities."
For animals living in need in New York, the food banks and shelters are there to provide them the necessary supplies, not to mention a variety of other necessities such as hygiene food.
"You can't get out without food, and they provide food at affordable prices for people who have low incomes and many of these people are homeless," said Mandy Williams, president of Shelter in New York and one of the co-founders, of Animal Care International.

DeAnna White has been waiting to get a few things right.
"It's a beautiful spring, so I thought, 'Why don't we make a movie about this?'" she said.
That's when she started looking for a theater.
"I was looking for a little film that didn't get made because they weren't getting a lot of screen time or the reviews were too much. And there weren't enough people to make sure that they got that budget."
